Dust If you notice a build-up of dust in your home or around the heat registers it’s important to have your furnace inspected. During inspections we look at the entire heating system including the ductwork. A dirty furnace has to work harder while lowering its life-span and efficiency.
Increased Utility Bills This is another sign the furnace is not operating at its maximum efficiently. Servicing your furnace can reduce the chances of your system shutting down when it is working hard during cold days in winter.
Unusual Noises Although most efficient furnaces are reasonably quiet compared to older conventional equipment, they tend to still make some noise. If you identify abnormal sounds such as banging or squealing there is chance a part or component needs attention. Leaving minor issues unattended could lead to costly repairs down the road.
